The newness;
\ncrisp, clear;
\nFreshness;
\nThe first autumn rain
\njust fell.
\nThe air has changed.
\nThe season changed;
\nLife never changes,
\nbut the living do.<\/p>\n
There seems
\nAnother solemn moment
\nsuspended in clear
\nAutumn’s air,
\nIn which I find myself
\nreflecting upon other
\nAutumn moments I
\nHad long since left behind.
\nIn Autumn had long been
\nmy favorite moments,
\nAs is winter when
\nWinter’s here, and
\nSpring when winter’s over.<\/p>\n
In my little favorite
\nmoment, I still find
\nThere’s some time left for
\nAll the things I’d never
\nsought to remember.
\nBut here in my autumn
\nmoment, they all
\njump into my memory;<\/p>\n
Not the events of those
\nmoments, but the feelings
\nI felt in them. Not the
\nSurroundings or the
\ncircumstance, just the
\nfeelings.<\/p>\n
I long for those feelings
\nagain, and in longing
\nfor those feelings, they
\ndo return; but when
\nfeelings return I long
\nfor the circumstances I
\nscarce remember, the
\nevents i chose to forget.<\/p>\n
I suppose I’m just waiting
\nfor another summer’s close,
\nAnother season’s passing.
\nI’m just waiting for an
\nempty, clear, crisp feeling
\nI had remembered once before.<\/p>\n
I suppose I’m just waiting
\nfor the circumstance to
\nBring about the things
\nI’ve long longed for.<\/p>\n
I suppose I’m just
\nwaiting, sick of wanting,
\nBut just waiting.<\/p>\n
Autumn has arrived again,
\nBut I’ll just wait for
