I was cut off from my Self above;
\nNow the self you know is not my all.
\nExtricated by my misguided desire;
\nNow from myself to my Self I call
\nTo learn more of things which I aspire
\nTo know, live and grow, in all Love.<\/p>\n
Though it would seem completely ineffable
\nTo most, whose vision is limited to this,
\n(The body they think of as themself)
\nTo me it seems true happiness and bliss
\nComes only from true Knowledge of Self
\nApart from this plane of all unethical.<\/p>\n
Planes beyond sight are inhabited by
\nBeings of Light and Consciousness:
\nOf the Being that is the Knower;
\nThe Thinker whom I now address;
\nAnd the Self embodied, the Doer;
\nTriune parts of what I know as I.<\/p>\n
The me you know is the Doer only,
\nFeeling and Desire, thus embodied.
\nFeeling, not a sense of this plane,
\nBut the passive Doer part in the body;
\nNot of the Physical are Love or pain,
\nHate or greed, or what’s called Holy;<\/p>\n
Of mind and thoughts made thereby,
\nAre these feelings and conditions.
\nPermeating bodily sense – this Feeling
\nIs Desire’s receiver – it’s erudition.
\nAnd Desire’s want and will is really
\nWhat controls progression of I.<\/p>\n
Desire – the active Doer part –
\nWhich is what allows me to say “I can”:
\nConscious control of which will hasten
\nMy awareness of the Selves I am;
\nComplete Knowledge of worlds I’m facing;
\nGrowth in Spirit and in Light;
\nMy return to Supreme and Glorious Height
