\nIs part,
\nFor both are

Twisted mass;
\nSinuous branches;
\nXylem and phloem
\nFlowing with Life.
\nAlas,
\nIf this tree were
\nAll eternity,
\nAnd all the universe,
\nI am the leaf.<\/p>\n
I am the leaf
\nFallen to earth.
\nDistraught with grief,
\nTo dust endured,
\nSuch pain procured
\nBy my insolent
\nQuestioning of
\nAll.<\/p>\n
The leaf sustains
\nThe tree,
\nAnd the tree the leaf,
\nFor both are
\nOf the same
\nOne thing.<\/p>\n
Through mysterious
\nUniverse,
\nI am One with you,
\nAnd One with
\nAll,
\nFor you too
\nAre leaf of tree;
\nYou too
\nDid fall.
\nOn different branches,
\nMaybe,
\nDifferent soil,
\nBut we both are of
\nThe one beauty,
\nThat is All.<\/p>\n
Universe: my tree!
\nMy sustenance!
\nUniverse, which
\nI sustain;
\nIn which I remain
\nAll but balanced
\nAs an imperfect being.
\n(But shall ultimately
\nNo longer be.)<\/p>\n
To dust I fell
\nFrom the universe,
\nTill from dust’s
\nLessons and from
\nDust’s laws,
\n(Minimal part of
\nThe Law of All)
\nThe labyrinth of
\nCreation’s roots,
\nWhich permeates
\nThis earthly
\nSoil,
\nDoes feel it’s
\nWay into my
\nHeart,
\nTaking me back
\nAs the intrinsic
\nPart
\nOf All
\nI always am.<\/p>\n
Then through the
\nVeins of the
\nUniverse tree,
\nMy spirit essence
\nMay flow free,
\nAnd merge with All,
\nAnd feed you leaves
