For<br \/>\nLike a god,<br \/>\nThe sea can enhance life,<br \/>\nUnexpectedly.<br \/>\nThe sea can bring worth<br \/>\nAnd value and meaning<br \/>\nTo life.<br \/>\nThe sea can sustain life.<br \/>\nThrough the sea,<br \/>\nAs through god,<br \/>\nFreedom can be found.<\/p>\n<p>Like a god,<br \/>\nThe sea should be held<br \/>\nWith reverence,<br \/>\nFor, like a god,<br \/>\nThe sea<br \/>\nDaunts one with its<br \/>\nUbiquity, and<br \/>\nCeaseless power.<br \/>\nIt can teach perspective<br \/>\nOn life:<br \/>\nCan teach one about<br \/>\nOne&#8217;s self.<\/p>\n<p>And,<br \/>\nLike a god<br \/>\nThe sea requires<br \/>\nLove, not words;<br \/>\nRecognition, not ritual;<br \/>\nAwareness, not religion.<br \/>\nIt requires a knowledge<br \/>\nThat within one is one<br \/>\nWith the sea, or<br \/>\nOne with the<br \/>\nGod.<\/p>\n<p>And too,<br \/>\nLike a god,<br \/>\nThe sea can take a life,<br \/>\nUnannounced.<\/p>\n<p>Is not the sea,<br \/>\nlike a god,<br \/>\nGod?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Far, far out there<br \/> On an open sea,<br \/> Is where most ease can be<br \/> Found within.<\/p>\n<p>Deeper within, the further<br \/> Out to sea.<\/p>\n<p>Like a god,<br \/> The sea can sedate the mind,<br \/> Inducing well-being and<br \/> Freedom, and Love.<\/p>\n<p>The sea remains like a god.<br \/> We both fear and<br \/> Love the sea.
