Desirable Objective

Bask in your moribund ecstacy
With sickened eyes you gaze at me
You know your life expectancy
But still I see you smile at me

Was it your desirable objective?
What’s wrong, don’t you have a will to live?
The pain you suffer will soon be over
The pain we bear will linger on

Astrally uplifted to a higher plane
No more need for material gain
Why lament over lifeless remains
Ignoring the solemn peace you’ve gained
