Testament

In my testament to all
I am appalled
By ingratiates, conniving
As yourselves.
I oft times wonder
What drives a man to plunder
What is far less
Than Life itself.

In my denunciating screams
I do deem
A new Light in
Conscious wisdom to be true.
I loathe to feel the
Anger which
Afflicts the very center
Of too many a man’s
Unconscious being.

In my panegyric squalls
I am appalled
By such denounced wisdom
As you dare:
It may drive a man
To wretchedness,
To watch himself
Forget the test
Which he should want to
Pass – and that is
Life.
