Nature of things

There is a nature of things
that takes this mind away into
perfusions of some far begotten
sensory disillusionment,
to leave in a naturally disastrous
wake the leftover pieces of
what some would call a civilization,
But I would call a scar on the face
of nature; some malingering festering
sore that would take all of the life
away from nature and give it to . . .

only to lose the true nature of things
that gives life,

that is life.
