Fallen Leaves

In the cooling days of autumn,
Leaves fall;
Trees lose their foliage
To the earth.

Fallen leaves become a
Carpet
Fit for all to walk on,
Before which they
Break down and
Melt into the soil.

Once part of the soil they are then
Taken up to the
Tree by the roots,
To nourish the same tree
From which they fell,
To ultimately become
The tree
From which they fell.

I am like the leaves,
Fallen to earth,
Where I may nourish the
Universe with my thought,
And in so doing, I shall
Be freed,
Shall be returned to
The universe from which I fell.

I shall nourish the
Tree and the leaves, to
Again become the tree and the leaves,
To again become a part
Of the universe I left behind.

Dysthanasia

As we lie here, listless, and lament,
Helpless with this lost lost cause,
The extirpation men call wars.
And technology: man’s own cerement,
As listlessly we lay here and lament

This life, this death,
This dysthanasia.

As we lay composing our own threnodies,
Doubtful, chant the long long dirge,
Irreverent in self-inflicted scourge,
And laugh at incontinent maladies,
As we lie here composing threnodies on

This life, this death,
This dysthanasia.

As here we lay morose, and contemplate
Our inadequacy, all, all obduracy,
Immutably set down in history.
Sorrowful; no sense to vituperate,
Here, lachrymose, as we contemplate

This life, this death,
This dysthanasia.

Here, laying in our dysthanasia,
No longer caring, nor culpable
For this future irrefutable,
Or history’s hard hard edification,
Here, in this, our dysthanasia.

This life, this death,
This dysthanasia.

Totality

There are several things
In the severalty of life
Which may seem as independent
And differentiated objects
But are no more than really
Inseparable but different
Facets of one portion
Of this reality
Which as humans we have
Come to accept as the
Totality of Reality.

And there are all events
In all facets of this life
Which, though seeming dependant,
And undifferentiated,
But are no more than
Separable but the same
Facets of different realities
Of this portion of existence
Which as humans we have
Come to accept as the
Reality of Totality.

Poison

You allow and
Invite and entice
This society to
Infiltrate your
Temple with the
Poisons of this
Fallacious life;
Most, without a
Thought or moment
Spent wondering
About the poisons
And this effluent
Of a cost-effective
Society.

Food is poisoned,
Marred by the
Greed of cost-
Effectiveness;
Air is poisoned,
Sullied by the
Greed of cost-
Effectiveness;
Water is poisoned,
Marred by the
Greed of cost-
Effectiveness;
The mind is
Poisoned by the
Greed that is
Cost-effectiveness.
Life and health
And love and war
Are undermined
By this odious
Cost-effectiveness.

Blindly society
Attempts to cure
The diseases but
Not the patients,
Filling the unwary
With cost-effective
Poisons, and removing
What it cannot contend
With; ignorant of
Society’s poisons which
Are at the root of
All that society
Cannot contend with.

Society pollutes
All society comes
Into contact with:
The universes,
External and internal,
Seen and unseen.

Nefarious society
Exerts the influence
Of the millions
On its own surroundings,
On the environment
Which must support it –
Environment internal and
External, seen and
Unseen.

Society defecates on
Itself, luxuriating
In its own defecation;
Deluding itself in the
Satisfaction that its
Incontinent of diarrhea
Will do no harm.
Deluding itself in the
Ignorant denial of
Its responsibility
For its own future.
Deluding itself in the
Hope that more is better
And more produced,
Cost-effectively,
Will produce more harmony
In the universes of the
Minds of these persons
Whom delude themselves
With their own greed.

Society’s silent and
Inept war on its own
Insecurity and
Insatiability
Masks but does not
Solve; hides but
Does not cure;
Ensconces but cannot
Secure a safe
Society.

The rules of this
Inefficacious war
Are made by the same
As those for whom
Cost-effectiveness
Is the guiding force:
Rules which can no more
Secure society’s future
Than the documents
On which they are inscribed.
Rules developed and
Implemented
Cost-effectively.

How vain it is to think
That the masses of persons
Whom, after lifetimes of abortive
Mithridatism, think nothing of
Polluting their own
Body temples with the
Poisons of a cost-effective
Society; who think nothing
Of polluting their minds
With the media of a
Cost-effective society;
Who think ineffectually:
Vain it is to think these
Same persons in this same
Society could ever think
Anything of the profanation
Of their own environments,
Internal and external,
They allow and entice and
Make subservient to their
Cost-effective greed.

This veil of self
Indulgent technology
Can never be as the veil of
Marriage of society with
The environment that
Supports it, but
Only the cerement
Of society.

Dust

There is dust
About us,
Precipitated energy
Whose energy
Now so slow,
It lends itself to the palpable universe,
The limited impressionistic
Universe so many
Proudly
And fallaciously call
Home.

This dust is all about us,
Attracting the thought and the attention
And all the
Ties that
It beguiles from
The misguided
Individuals for whom this dust
Is the all,
The God,
The deious, unpious and the
Object of their worship.

In this dust
All evil can be found.
All roots of all
The mundane,
The deleterious,
All of the bad that
As persons we
Are told to avoid.

Release from this plane of dust,
This universe where
All must
Decay,
This universe where all things
Can only have the
Impermanence that
Renders things slaves to
Their own subservient dust,
To which their own subservience has succumbed
To by their own thought,
Can only be through control of the dust,
Control of the desire that holds the
Dust.

Evil dust:
This dust allows the sense of touch,
This dust allows and promotes the mundane
Through holding us back as entities from our universal
Knowledge,
From universal Love,
From all that there is to be
Known,
From all that there is to be
Experienced,
From all that there is to be.

Through the deathly dust found in deserts,
Through the dust found in
Gold,
Through the dust from which bodies are
Formed,
All knowledge is recorded through
This dust from which human desire
And human memory stem.
That dust is the dust of the universe,
That dust is the dust of this world,
Is the dust that through its own control
Can cleanse,
The dust that through control can strengthen,
The dust that is the dust of the desert,
The dust that is the dust of gold,
The dust that all is made of
In this impermanent world
Of imperfection
And decay and
Lust and greed,
And emotion controlled and
Willed unto the dust.

What then is not this dust?
Since this dust too
Is the god that is all
Things?
This dust also is a part of the godness of all
Things, and this dust too
Is the only way out of this dust plane.
We must control our desire for this dust,
And thus control the dust,
To live not only with
But through this dust,
So that any
Encounters with sensory impressions
In futures passing
Will not arouse the
Same misguided thought,
The same misguided desire
And lust for this life,
This sensory
And impressionistic
World of dust,
In which we are.

The Healer

Energies have ways:
They accumulate,
They disperse,
They flow and spread.
Energies that govern
And control the processes
That control the energies –
The processes, the control
And the energy
All are life.

Life’s processes are not
Infallible though, for Life’s
Processes are governed by
One’s own thoughts and one’s own
Actions, and as imperfect beings
Misguided action and
Thought can precipitate
Disharmonies – imbalance of the
Energies that govern the life
Which governs energy.

These life force energies
May stagnate or cease to move;
They may become insufficient,
Or excessive; they may no
Longer be able to perform
Their functions.

It is then that the healer
Is required: the one
Who is able to remove
Obstructions from impeded energies,
Who is able to govern the energy
That governs the life governing
Energies; who is able to renew
And rebalance imbalanced
Energies.

But what is it that causes
These energies to leave their own paths,
Rendering this energy incapable
Of performing its life performing
Duties? What energy disables
Energy? There is but one thing
To which energy must remain
Subservient: the energy of thought.

Only the mind can focus
The energy of thought;
Only the mind can disrupt the
Energy, directly and
Indirectly. Through misguided
Thought and uncontrolled desire,
Energies may be obstructed in
Their life preserving tasks.

Desires becoming
Thoughts becoming
Actions: actions
Conducive to
Disease and corruption.
Corrupting the mind to further
Its desire for these corrupting
Thoughts; corrupting the mind
To force the
Body into actions
Not normally considerable
In true organic
Life processes.

Forcing the body to
Consume the poisons
That are prepared to entice
The mind by
Deceiving the body;
Forcing the body to it’s
Own infestations;
Infestations obstructing the
Energy of life and the
Energy of death.

Health can come only from the
Healer, whose undecimated
Thoughts are not enticed
And controlled and
Deluded and controlled and
Amazed and extolled
By deluded body.
The Healer’s awareness is
Of the body as a
Separate and separable
Temple, to be
Controlled and kept
By the mind,
Not to control and keep
The mind.

No external forces
Can cause any disease
For disease is a product
Of the mind that produces
Disease and is controlled
By the disease it produces.

Each person has their healer.
Each person has their
Own healer,
For each person is their
Own healer.

Only the healer within
Each can heal.
What in this world a person
May put their lost faith into
May be all that is needed to
Heal: But ultimately their
Own faith alone can
Heal them.

The rebalance of energies,
The replacing of life’s
Lost energy,
The removal of the poisons of
Body and delusive
Temptations of
Mind can be performed
By other than the
Diseased, but it is
The diseased themselves
Who must be their own
Healers.

It is the sick themselves
Who are to be the healers.
Every man is both the
Healer and the disease.

Dark

Slanted rays
piercing;
That small round effigy of a sun
appears,
reappears;
moves with the sun,
tracing a
path across a
darkened room,
tracing time against
a backdrop of
a darkened room;
tracing the
life
of all that can
be across a darkened room.

The life of all that can be:
little more than small
white point of Light,
traversing a darkened
universe;
traversing and tracing
time,
as though
time were nought
but the function
of the life that
traces it.

Shafted white,
illuminating
dust,
illuminating all
in it’s path,
crossing all
things in it’s path,
recording all
in it’s path,
which already
and always are
part of its path.
That shaft of white,
the light piercing
darkness of
an empty room,

The Light piercing
darkness of an
empty life
are both to be
found, and realized
and experienced for
both are there
to be found and
experienced for
both are there.

This Light;
this dark;
how can there be dark
without Light,
or light without dark?
To take away Light is
to take away dark also,
for both the Light and the dark
have been made necessary:
light cannot be Light without the
darkness that makes Light light.

In a perfect void there
is and can be
no Light or dark;
Light in perfection cannot be
as light would seem.
Then and then

only, in that void is there
Perfection.
Perfection transcends the darkness
of knowledge and the Light
of wisdom;
transcends the darkness of
ignorance and the
light of knowledge;
the darkness of desire
and Light of will;
Transcends the darkness
of Light and the
Light of desire.
Perfection transcends
the perfect,
as only perfection
may be found
without
Light or darkness.

Through empty room
that piercing shaft of
light moves;
but an empty room is not
a void,
cannot approach perfection,
as empty life is
not devoid of perfection
but is not perfection
and cannot be perfect.

The empty room of this life,
meager in its illumination,
allows only that looked
for to be seen,
and only that seen
to be known.
only that known
experienced.

We must see the Light
by which the room
may be illuminated;
The Light traversing the
rooms of the universe;
The Light that can light
the way:
The Light that is the
way to
transcend
the Light, the dark,
the person,
and all darkened rooms.

Senses

Oh Sickened man
distraught with your own pains,
look about you:

What more can there be than
what there is you see
about you?

Sickening man,
look with eyes
feel with hands
hear with ears
and know with brain
for never will the senses
teach the knowledge
that is beyond the senses.

Never can the knowledge
of all
be found or learnt by
illusory sense impressions
for no impression is left
by the absolute
in its absoluteness.

No impression can be
received
and no brain can have
knowledge,
and no hands can feel,
and no ears can
hear the
infinite,
and yet hands feel the absolute
all the time,
ears hear infinity all the
time, and eyes
may always see infinity,
for each sense
is both a unit of and a
whole of the infinity that
as a sense
it cannot comprehend.
At all times we are bombarded
and surrounded by and
immersed in that
which our senses cannot
sense,
but which our minds
may be aware of.

That which our universes,
external,
internal,
supernal,
are always part – of
each permeating the other,
each containing the
universes which contain it:
each being the other.

On such dimensions as body
may feel this cannot be,
but such as bodily awareness
induces, hinders
all to whom this attachment
becomes all.

Acceptance

There must be an acceptance of the one
Perfection that is in all men and all things
Before perfection can be achieved.

In chasing our own perfection there can
Never be perfection found.

We must accept our own perfection,
And pass on knowledge of our own perfection
To all imperfect beings
So caught up in finding perfection,
Finding salvation,
Finding and improving their lives,
Which as lives must only be and remain imperfect.

Every problem solved creates new problems,
But every problem released and replaced
By the intrinsic perfection of the universe
Is gone and gone and gone.

Every thought created requires thought to
Balance it, but in accepting and replacing
Thought with true knowledge of perfection
No thoughts are created and no more thought
Is required.
